In 2000, Graham invented the Wyfe of Bath cheese, a nutty and sweet semi-hard cheese named after the character in Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales while in 2010, he started making Bath Blue. All the cheeses have been well-received and have won many awards. Bath Blue came first at the World Cheese Awards 2014-15, seeing off competition from 2,700 other cheeses from around the globe.

All of our cheeses are made using old-fashioned manual methods, which gives the cheeses more flavour.

Beer From Round Here was set-up as a one-stop online and delivery shop for locally brewed craft beers, and what better place for it to be located than Bristol?

Having long been synonymous with cider, the Bristol area is now also known as a beer lover's paradise. And it isn’t just the number of breweries that gives Bristol’s beer culture the edge; it’s also the quality and varied styles of the many craft beers produced in and around this city and its charming neighbour, Bath.

We had our first ‘trout for tea’ one evening in October, pan fried with a parsley pesto. We were blown away by how delicious the trout was. It was that evening we decided we had to share this delicious and sustainable fish with others. Guided by the sustainability of the farm we founded the food side of the business in 2021.

The online shop now sells a small, but delicious, range of fresh, cold and hot smoked trout products with free delivery of up to 40 miles from Hungerford. We also pop up regularly at markets and sell our trout to some of the finest restaurants in the area.

However, we have a passion for growing plants, whether it be from seed, cuttings or division. As the maintenance side of the business grew, we were asked to supply plants for customers for soft landscaping. This has led to us having stalls at Bath Farmers Market, Thornbury High Street, Belle Vue Team Rooms (Newport), Chepstow High Street and Tredegar House (Newport) along with numerous village days, most notably Old Sodbury Village Day and Pucklechurch Revel.

Renate and Dylan started Cotswold Orchard Herbs in a very old and wild 3-acre orchard near Stow-on-the-Wold in the heart of the Cotswolds in early 2022. They are starting to restore and develop the Orchard into a ‘wildish’ horticultural oasis…well that’s the plan!

They have been appearing at markets and festivals in the local area and have met so many lovely people who share Renate’s passion for health and wellbeing, trying and buying her herbs and produce.

Off the back of this they discovered the love for their FIRE CIDER - Triple Cold Pressed organic infusion.

They wanted to be able to share the wellbeing goodness of their Fire Cider far & wide so have launched online! They can now ship their Organic Fire Cider directly to you.

Fermentation is the natural process by which friendly yeasts and bacteria metabolise the carbohydrates in food. Nutrients such as enzymes, vitamins and minerals are boosted and become easier to digest and complex flavours are developed. Not only that, but the presence of these live organisms are probiotic and contribute to the diversity of gut bacteria (gut microbiome).

We love our birds and we keep chickens, guinea fowl and turkeys here on the farm. All our birds live in small flocks of around 150 birds and are free to range under the plum, pear and willow trees. We do not use antibiotics or any growth promoters, instead allowing the birds to grow slowly at their own pace. The land  they range and forage is herbicide and pesticide free.

All our chickens and guinea fowl are super slow grown to over 100 days resulting in a great tasting bird that has had a happy outdoor life.

Oven ready chickens are available all year round and turkeys are available at Christmas or the end of November for restauranteurs/pub owners. Guinea fowl are available all year round.

Plant Based Food Made with Love. After 20 years working with Rachel at The Demuths Cookery School, Janifa has finally grown wings and opened her own kitchen.

Paul and Ruth Kimber have been farming since 1973, carrying on the family tradition at Charlton Musgrove. We are responsible traditional farmers, using fertilisers and herbicides only according to need. Our animals are treated when necessary. We enjoy the services of expert agronomists, veterinarians, and feed specialists. Our farm is independently inspected.

Having a mixed stock farm we have become experts in animal husbandry, welfare being our top priority. Quality is maintained by using wholesome animal feed including home grown wheat, maize/grass silage and meadow hay - all used during the winter months. The cattle graze in the summer with special formulated rations for finishing, without the use of growth promoters. The same policy is used for all other livestock.

Middle Ground Growers (MGG) was born in 2020, on a small 2 acre market garden in the village of Bathampton.

Like all vegetables, MGG started with an idea: producing ecologically grown food for local communities.

We started by supplying a whole food shop in Bath and selling directly on the farm. Rapidly we also decided to launch a veg box scheme and began delivering to 20-25 families every week in 2020, 75 households in 2021 and 110 families in 2022.

These divine dips, handmade in Stokes Croft from ethically-sourced ingredients, are 100% vegan and served in biodegradable packaging. Delivering big flavours and innovative recipes, Moist have already developed a loyal Bristol fan base. Don’t miss hummus with wasabi and roasted butternut squash dip with basil and cashews.

We use quality ingredients from small local suppliers, we devise innovative recipes with inventive flavour combinations and pride ourselves on taking a different approach to pretty much everything we do!

The Oven is a small wholesale bakery based at Hartley Farm, Winsley, near Bradford on Avon. All of our bread is made using a sourdough process (leavened naturally with wild yeasts)

I first learnt to cook in my father's restaurant in Australia. On my travels in Europe I picked up a small job in Biarritz in a small bakery. They said I had a natural ability for pastry, so the rest is history.

I went back to Australia and worked as a pastry cook, then went on to college and got my certificates in pastry and bread.

Every one of our products is still hand crafted, from the spreading of jam to the piping of chocolate.  This might take a little longer but we believe you get a much better product for it.  Feedback from food lovers across the land and a host of product awards tells us we’re on to something.

We’ve always believed in buying locally, long before the idea of ‘food miles’ was invented.  Our Cheddar is from a family-run dairy farm only six miles away, we buy our flour from the award-winning Shipton Mill up the road and our sandwiches are made with local chutneys, free range egg and farm assured ham.

Rooted in the scenic hills of Kelston, our journey took off with a simple mission: to bring you the world's best coffee, sourced directly from incredible farmers.

Founded in 2012, Round Hill Roastery embarked on a journey through the world of specialty coffee at a time when the third wave was still in its infancy. From the start, we committed ourselves to understanding single-farm and single-estate coffees. Those formative years were about learning, fine-tuning, and most importantly, discovering our ultimate mission: to bring out the extraordinary in every coffee bean.

Medjool Dates infused with our luxurious fillings, enrobed with hand tempered chocolate and finished off with flair. We are all about a plump Medjool - that’s why we take our time to select the finest specimens before helping them undergo a real ‘glow up’.

We've been established since 2012 and currently reside in a converted stable building a couple of miles from the centre of Bath. And in that time hopefully we've learnt a bit about how best to work with chocolate.  We've been expanding our range over the years and now make dozens of different chocolates, over 30 different chocolate bars and many other types of confectionery.

In more recent times we've also become one of the small number of companies in the U.K to make some of our own chocolate directly from the cocoa bean - known as 'Bean to Bar' or 'Craft' chocolate. We buy in carefully selected, ethically sourced beans from around the world and work with them over several days in different processes to create the finished chocolate.

At Somerset Charcuterie we have embraced traditional Italian and Spanish methods, modernised these practices while combining them with some of the fantastic flavours and rich food culture of the West Country. We now have over 10 years experience at the forefront of the this fantastic industry where we are constantly honing our craft in pursuit of excellence.

We are very proud to have won so many prestigious awards over the years with recent Champion Charcuterie Product at the Taste of the West awards for our Black Down Ham.

The Thoroughly Wild Meat Company was established in 2003. It was set up by husband & wife team Andrew & Lavinia Moore with the sole aim of producing truly excellent meat. We took an old-fashioned approach to butchery, sourcing from hand-picked suppliers, only buying the best animals we could find. And we still do things the same way now.

We are well known for Salt Marsh Lamb & Mutton, dry aged Red Ruby Beef and Mangalitsa Pork. In fact though, we’re consistently adding new ideas for our customers to try, be it Vitellone Beef or products like Salsicce or Cotechino.

We also have a catering business (run by Lavinia) and you can find us at various festivals and foodie gatherings in the South West throughout the Summer.
